            <description>I have created a new resouce page on my website after veiwing Jenni's video on the compainon website which gave us great examples on how to polish our website. I have encluded a list of useful resouces that I have used or discovered during the creation of my website. I have also created a list of authentic resources and pdf files for information on authntic learning that I&amp;nbsp; read or used over the course of this unit. Lastly I have added some you tube clips which I found helpful with my website. I undervalued you tube before commencing this unit and it was only once we started this course and speaking with colleges that I discovered you can learn just about anything on you tube. It was realyt helpful when I came up against technology challenges like trying to add a youtube clip to a powerpoint presentation&amp;nbsp;or how to download toolbars and add pictures.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;I&amp;nbsp;can't believe this is the last week of semester 1 before study break and then its exams.&amp;nbsp; I have not set an exam for 20 years so I am a little apprehensive but with anything new I have learnt to embrace and learn from each experience. I am going to print of example examsfrom the LSM&amp;nbsp;from each of my units and use that as a guide to study. Along with all my podcast lectures which I will listen to again and revisit my notes and textbooks. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Today in tutorials the class will be presenting all the Wiki creations but unfortunately I have a sick daughter so I have emailed my team and Jenni. I am disappointed I will not get to view them but I will go into the wikispace and have a look that wa.y Now I am just going to check over my website and then submit!</description>

            <title>Finishing assignment 3a</title>

&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;Today our group meet in the library to finalise the presentation of our Wikispace resource. We needed to reference, add pictures and create a power point narration.&amp;nbsp;Nikki and I &amp;nbsp;used creative commons Flickr for the pictures which I had not use before so it was another resource&amp;nbsp;I have learnt and a great tool for future use.&lt;SPAN style=&quot;mso-spacerun: yes&quot;&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;We had taken a lot of photos ourselves to add to our wiki which shows the process we have taken to create and present.&amp;nbsp;While&amp;nbsp;Nikki and I were&amp;nbsp;polishing and referencing Chelsea, Paul and Monique finished of the power point presentation&amp;nbsp;and wrote the&amp;nbsp;script then &amp;nbsp;I did the narrative as it was decided my voice worked best for the presentation which we used voice memo then I emailed it to Paul and he attached it to our power point presentation, getting the time was slightly challenging but as a team we resolved the issue and are all very pleased with our final result. Wikispace has been a great resouce for our whole team to contribute and to without any geographical issues.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;I&amp;nbsp;feel very pleased with the work we are presenting, there is an abundance of information, guidance and advice in our wikispace and a lot of time, effort, collaboration and research has gone into it. I have learnt many new ways to present creative resources and gained more skills in reseach and technologies. I now am not fearful of technology and am excited to learn new things.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

We were required to create a authentic learning resouce to share with other teachers. So our group first though we would look at the skeletal system but after some researcher decided as a team too look at a broarder concept to cover move learning areas. We decided on the topic of travelling arounbd Australia as this allowed us to incoporate maths, literacy, IT and georgraphy with many other elements.&amp;nbsp; We checked to ciriculiam and ensured we followed it while still ensuring it to be a authentic task.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;We decided on a task that would be covered over a term period and engage the children in the use of multimedia with the final presentation from the children being a powerpoint presenttion with a kid blog used as an electronic diary for them to reflect. The students were to work in teams which allows for collaboration.             <description>Assignment 3 requires us to work in teams and I have been fortunate enough to be grouped with Nikki, Chelsea, Paul and Monique. We will be working on creating a useful resouce for teachers to use in the teaching of an authentic task.             <description>After spending quite a bit of time trying&amp;nbsp;to figure out what I was doing wrong on endnotes when working on my researcher task 2, I decided a trip to the library was in order.&amp;nbsp;With the children in tow I headed on down to Murdoch Rockingham library and the wonderful&amp;nbsp;Pim guided me through endnotes.&amp;nbsp; It was such a simple thing I was doing I was bring up the correct screen but just not processing any futher as I thought I was wrong but it was not the case, yet it&amp;nbsp; had thrown&amp;nbsp;me completely.&amp;nbsp; It just goes to show persistance is priceless.&amp;nbsp; I now feel confident using endnotes and realise what a wonderful program it is.
